In 2022 the annual monsoon season in Pakistan was nothing short of catastrophic. It was not just the wettest since records began in 1961, but also the worst to hit the region since 2010. The sheer magnitude of the crisis is staggering, with rainfall reaching 780% above average levels, triggering unprecedented flooding that left communities devastated.

In response to this urgent situation, Instant Aid took immediate action, establishing a kitchen in the northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Recognizing the need for collaborative efforts, Instant Aid partnered with World Central Kitchen (WCK) to cook for families in need.  In addition to hot meals, both organizations worked tirelessly to distribute 400 dry ration food kits to those affected by the disaster.

This joint effort serves as a testament to the power of collective action in the face of adversity. Instant Aid and WCK are working hand in hand, combining resources and expertise to reach as many families as possible during this critical time.

The impact of the monsoon crisis is immense, and the journey towards recovery will undoubtedly be long and arduous. However, with initiatives like our partnership with WCK, there is hope. It's a reminder that even in the darkest times, the spirit of collaboration and humanitarian aid can bring rays of light to those in need.

As we navigate the aftermath of this unprecedented disaster, Instant Aid remains committed to providing support and relief where it's needed most.
