Sohrab is 7 years old and studies hard at Salam Cafe but can’t go to school due to his family's financial situation. Neelam is 8 years old and dreams of becoming a teacher. 

Sobrab works alongside his father as a shoemaker on the side streets of Kabul. He is so happy because his father protects him on the streets. Sohrab says he's going to study hard because he wants to become an engineer. 

Their monthly rent is 3000 afg and they have 2 bedrooms. We want to cover their rent and purchase the father a shoe repair cart and supplies.
